Leon Krasenstein is an Australian Costume Designer located in Los Angeles California, specialising in Design for Film and Commercials.

Leon recently created Costumes for Disney’s Mickey Mouse and Friends project touring the United States in 2023 and created customized designs for Endemolshine’s upcoming project airing in late 2023.

Leon Costume Designed the Survival Thriller “WIRELESS” produced by Steven Soderbergh (Erin Brockovich, Traffic and Ocean 8) and Cathy Konrad (Girl Interrupted, Walk The Line and Scream). Directed by Zach Wechter and Starring Tye Sheridan (X Men) Andie MacDowell (Four Weddings and a Funeral, Groundhog Day) Lucas Gage (Euphoria) and Francesca Reale (Stranger Things). Leon designed costumes for the 1950s SciFi film “Extra-ordinary” Directed by Brendan Bellomo and produced by Aniela Sidorska. Leon was the Costume Designer on Abe Forsythe's most recent feature film LITTLE MONSTERS starring Oscar winning Lupita Nyong’o and Josh Gad produced by Bruna Papandrea and Steve Hutensky (Big Little Lies and Gone Girl) and Jodi Matterson (The Dry and Penguin Bloom).

He was the Costume Designer for Abe Forsythe’s feature, Down Under, and season 1 and Season 2 of the Bondi Hipsters’ hilarious ABC comedy, Soul Mates, which was a collaboration between American comedy streaming channel Seeso and the ABC. His Other Screen work includes Costume Designer for the Sci-fi drama Terminus (Directed by Marc Furmie, TV series HOOPLA DOOPLA (ABC), Short film Dreaming of Mum and telemovie Sick (MTV)

Leon is Australian and is now a permanent USA resident, lives in Hollywood and is a member of the Costume Designer’s Guild 892.
